The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a digital portal that allows registered scholarship applicants to apply for over 50 scholarships from state and federal governments, the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and other governmental institutions.

How To Apply National Scholarship Portal
The application process for both new applications and renewals of Scholarship Schemes is described below:-
For new students to apply:- first, you go to the National Scholarship Portal’s home page and click on the tab “Student Login.” Fill out the application as directed by the system, then click the ‘save’ tab. You will be given a “Temporary user ID” after saving the application form. The system will ask you to enter your Temporary ID number, date of birth, and other information. After completing the registration, click the ‘submit button to generate a new Permanent Registration ID, which may be used for Renewal and tracking the status of the application.
For old students, Renewal:- You must apply for a scholarship renewal using your prior year’s “Application Id” and “Date of Birth.” A student can also obtain their ID by going to ‘Forgot Application ID.’ Only students who have earned scholarship payments from NSP during the previous year would be eligible to reapply.
